Student Opportunities
Below is a list from those who reach out to TSA with various offers for students of commissions, art shows, services etc. We do not vet or sponsor any of them and TSA does not take any responsibility for anything that may result from participation.
1. Design TO: One month left to submit: 2026 Call for Independent Projects
Each January, DesignTO Festival transforms Toronto into a citywide celebration of creativity, with over 100 exhibitions and events exploring design as a multidisciplinary form of thinking and making. Since 2011, we’ve welcomed 1 million+ visitors, showcased the work of 6,500+ artists and designers, and reached over 2 billion people worldwide.
At the heart of the Festival are our Independent Projects—open-sourced exhibitions, events (tours, talks, workshops), and window installations created and executed entirely by you. Open to artists, designers, design firms, local businesses, academic and cultural institutions, and students, these projects can take place at a venue in Toronto or online.
Deadline: Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:59pm ET
With just one month to go, now’s the time to lock in your venue and submit your project. Don’t miss your chance to be part of shaping Toronto’s design week! SUBMIT
2. The Square Foot Show
The Square Foot Show is an online art show that helps eager collectors connect with established and emerging artists. We do this through fast and fun online art shows and love to promote our artists!
Each month, we have a new theme and our January 2026 will feature student artists. We'd love for your students to apply. Would you be able to distribute this opportunity to your fine art students?
