This is a comprehensive course exploring relief printmaking techniques on wood, using watercolour and Yamamoto Rice paste. During the course, students will learn how to register their images on the blocks, cut their images into the blocks, prepare paper for printing, and print in both black & white and colour. This course employs traditional Japanese woodblock printmaking techniques with a Western approach.


Spring 2020:

10 Weeks:  Base Tuition: $422 + Materials Fee: $60 = Total: $482
