This ONLINE 4 Day Workshop for Youth (ages 13-17 years) is designed for students who want to explore mono printing without a press but using a Gelli Plate. Through demonstrations, various processes will be introduced - including positive and negative printing techniques, ghost imagery, printing with flowers and grasses, self made stencils, resist with wax crayons and more. Mark making and drawing onto the plate, as well as preparing backgrounds and multiple layers will be explored and all students' work will be shown and discussed at the end of each session.

Individual feedback will be part of each session and handouts for further exploration will be provided. In order to create a safe and fun studio atmosphere all students are expected to present online with video and sound, share images and participate in group and individual discussions and mentorship.
