• Introduction-Intermediate
  • Drawing

This ONLINE course is appropriate for anyone looking to make drawings that feel more three dimensional. In this course, students will learn how to confidently draw the five major forms and how to recognize them in every-day objects. Students will then learn how to combine those forms into more organic shapes as our subjects for drawing become more complex.

As a class, we will work through drawing demonstrations and student critiques by drawing directly over student work. Topics covered will include: gesture drawing, contour drawing and proportion drawing strategies. The exercises covered in this course can be applied to drawing still-life setups, the human figure, animals, singular objects and structures from your own imagination. Course material will be delivered through lectures, in class drawing demonstrations and optional weekly assignments.
