This ONLINE 6 week course is experimental. Its nature is not instructional, but rather inspired by our individual approaches. We will look into our artmaking during pandemic times: what does it mean to us, what is it giving us and what do we give to it right now?  We will explore where we individually “come from” and where we want to “go to”, creating room to contemplate on memory-work and artist legacies.

During class immediate sketching, doodling and writing, painting or collage is encouraged. It can include portraying each other, views out of our windows, interior views as well as sketching during a movie (screened online).

There will be a focus on community building, creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere and playfulness. At the end of each class, we will look at our works in an informal and supportive atmosphere.

Life during COVID might reflect in the outcomes as it does in the concept of the course.
