Digital cameras are everywhere. Everyone takes pictures. Images are shared in every form of social media. In this rush to record every single moment of our lives something has been left behind. Quality. Image quality. Print quality. And creativity. Digital images are pretty fantastic right out of the camera, but they can be a lot better. Better sharpness. Better colour. Better composition. And that’s just the beginning. You can combine your photo with others to create a collage. You can colourize photos and turn them into beautiful gallery-quality black and white images. You can turn your photos into out of this world abstractions. And digital photos can make very, very good digital prints. Taking good photos is an art. It takes time and benefits from some instruction. The same can be said for turning good photos into even better digital images and prints.
