This introductory course is designed for first-time users of Adobe Photoshop. Through project based, hands-on exercises, students will explore the tools and techniques used to draw, paint, and manipulate images. Collage effects using various tools and layers will teach students the principles of Photoshop and art-making on a computer. Projects will develop skills while inspiring students to create original digital artwork that encourages personal discovery and direction. Students will benefit from the small class size and individual attention (limit 6 students- Summer 2021)

Notes: This course uses Adobe Creative Suite. Students should have basic knowledge of Mac computers and Mac OS 10.x or experience with Microsoft Windows.
