This studio class provides an opportunity for students to focus on developing a personal voice, understanding and capitalizing on their inherent visual tendencies, comprehending the process of completing a coherent body of work and developing the confidence to see an idea through various stages to a finished product. Expect group talks, analysis of individual work, in-class studio, one-on-one support, art videos with discussions and end-of-term critiques. We will also address options available for mounting and displaying work.


Fall 2020: 5 weeks, Base Tuition: $264 + Materials Fee: $25 = Total: $289

In Fall 2020, this course will be offered in 2 Parts - each 5 weeks long.  These parts can be taken as stand alone courses or Part 2 can be taken as a continuation of Part 1.

PLEASE NOTE: FALL 2020 - Due to COVID 19, special policies and regulations will apply to all IN-PERSON courses at TSA. Students must be in agreement with these health and safety regulations and TSA policies in order to enrol.

 

Notes: Basic Prerequisite: Tina Poplawski’s Fundamental Acrylics and Contemporary Abstraction or an intermediate level of understanding in acrylic paint and mediums.
