Suitable for absolute beginners to intermediate level makers. 

Learn how to create with clay or expand your skills. Through instruction and exploration of hand building methods such as pinch pots, coiling, slab building and wheel throwing techniques, you will learn to design, build and decorate ceramic pieces both functional and sculptural. Course includes demonstrations, practice and creation time as well as discussion of theory, history and studio health & safety. 


10 Weeks:  Base Tuition $422 + Materials Fee $45 = $467

Notes: $45 materials fee includes a bag of Cone 6 stoneware clay (20lbs), all firings, use of glazes and tools on site.  Additional bags of clay are available for purchase at TSA (note: all clay used at TSA, must be purchased from TSA)

  • Your own apron (clay is messy)
