Professional Studio guides emerging artists through the development of the skills necessary to enter the art community beyond the school environment. Topics covered will be how to: Put an art practice plan into action, write an Artist Statement and CV, document and archive art activity, locate a venue and develop a target audience, portfolio development, networking, ways to prepare, exhibit and sell work, access services for artists including grants, exhibition venues, and more.

Special topics presentations will be a central component of this course, featuring prominent members of the TSA Faculty as they relate to their own studio practices and experiences.
