This introductory course teaches the basics of Adobe Photoshop. Through project-based, hands-on exercises, students will explore the tools and techniques used to draw, paint, and manipulate images. Collage effects using various tools and layers will teach students the principles of Photoshop and art-making on a computer. Projects will develop skills while inspiring students to create original digital artwork that encourages personal discovery and direction. 

Winter 2020:

6 Weeks: Base Tuition: $305 + Lab Fee: $20 = Total: $325

Spring 2020:

8 weeks: Base Tuition: $349 + Lab Fee: $40 = Total: $389

Notes: This course uses Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Students should have basic knowledge of Mac computers and Mac OS 10.x or experience with Microsoft Windows. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is also recommended. Winter Term 2020: No class held Monday, February 17 (Family Day).
