Stretch your figure drawing practice and deepen your connection with the history of figurative art in this ONLINE life drawing course.

Representing human forms has been a continuing element of western artistic process. Through the centuries, artists have employed a wide variety of materials and stylistic approaches. Try stepping into the shoes of artists' drawing practice in different eras, and challenge yourself in the process!

Periods under consideration include Renaissance, Baroque, Expressionism, early Modernism and more.

Classes will consist of online drawing practice, working on guided exercises with a model, supported by slide presentations on the history of figurative reprtesentation. Each week's online exercises will be a springboard to self-directed work, to be shared during the following class.

5 weeks:  Tuition $220  + Model Fee: $55 = $275
