Always wanted to learn to draw? Then join this ONLINE course where students will be guided to explore line, texture, value, positive and negative space, light and shade, proportion, natural perspective, composition and mark making. Through weekly warm ups, presentations, demonstrations and exercises, you will be drawing from (natural) objects, views, images and imagination. You will explore a variety of dry and wet media and will be introduced to artists who use drawing in their art practice in an art historical and contemporary context. Students will be expected to present online with video and sound, share images and participate in group and individual discussions and mentorship.
