This five-week ONLINE course is designed to help you get started drawing from real life. If you've never drawn before and would like to learn the basics, this course will help you learn how to draw realistic and three-dimensional forms. Through online demos, slide shows and images, students will learn observational drawing techniques combined with traditional drawing approaches to help gain drawing confidence and comfort. You will be guided through each exercise, gaining an understanding of the importance and reason behind each practice and technique. Throughout the span of this six week course, students will also learn how to draw 3D objects with the help of structural line drawing in the one and two-point perspective approach and learn how to create depth by playing with scale and the placement of objects in a harmonious composition. This course can be taken as a stand alone course or in conjunction with 016 ONLINE Drawing Basics: Next Steps.
