• Introduction-Intermediate
  • Drawing

This ten-week course will focus on drapery and clothing on the human form. Beginning with a review of key principles of figure drawing (gesture, mass) with nude models, the course will look at how fabric behaves on the human form. Key types of folds will be reviewed, and models in a range of different types of clothing and costume will provide ample opportunity to gain more experience and insight into drawing the clothed form. Pose lengths will progress from shorter studies to longer ones, and from simple garments to more complex situations as the term continues.
