This ONLINE course for beginners and more experienced artists will do a deep dive into these 3 parts of the figure that express so much of who we are. Upgrading your skills in this area will give you a big boost of confidence when drawing portraits, sketching in public or, for life drawing. This course is also ideal for anyone developing a portfolio for programs in fine art, animation, game design or illustration.
To ensure your progress, practice between classes is strongly recommended.

Notes: Megan Williams has taught at the Toronto School of Art for over 20 years, offering courses in figurative drawing and painting, practical history of technique and the development of a personal creative voice. Administratively, she has served as Co-director of the School, in program development and in fundraising. Williams has also has taught at OCAD and currently teaches at Sheridan College in the School of Animation Arts and Design. Williams is a recipient of two Greenshields grants (1981–82/1983–84) to study in Europe and is also a published author of a francophone collection of Canadian rhymes and songs from families from coast to coast, gathered during travels from Northern B.C. to the East Coast; she grew up as a bilingual Montrealer.
