This course will integrate the use of acrylic emulsions and substrates such as Gesso, Matte Medium, Molding Paste and Absorbent Ground with High Flow Acrylics. Working towards enlarging the scale of our pictures we will also utilize some of the many exciting contemporary compositional strategies available to the water media artist seeking to update their working habits. This course will include instructor demonstrations, student investigations and scheduled group discussions.
