This course is geared towards teenagers from 13 to 17 years. We will be visiting art galleries and museums as well as outdoor public art in Toronto, exploring various art historical and contemporary sculpture and installations through drawing and sketching, journaling, collaging and frottaging on site. Various media will be used and we will be creating our own travel journals and sketchbooks in order to learn about the art forms, artists and how to draw and document the same - including learning about line, form, value, positive and negative space, composition and perspective.


Spring 2020:

10 Weeks: Base Tuition: $422 (Sundays)

Notes: Sites include the AGO, ROM, Historical Distillery District, Harbourfront Galleries and Power Plant Gallery, Downtown Public art in and around buildings and more. Public transportation will be used for all field trips - please bring TTC fare.
